Moorabbin Flying Services (MFS) has recently installed a new state of the art, Elite iGATE S623 synthetic flight training device. Our system was designed and built by Elite in Switzerland to specifically meet standards set by the global aviation regulators. It has been approved for Australian operation by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) to allow us to provide up to;

• 1 hour of required instrument flight time for the General Flying Progress Test (GFPT) Syllabus

• 5 hours of required instrument flight time for the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) Syllabus

• 20 hours of required instrument flight time for the Command Instrument Rating (CIR) Syllabus

The S623 simulator enables MFS students to conduct diverse areas of flight training and multi crew procedures all whilst being in the comfort of our dedicated synthetic flight training room. The device creates a realistic flight environment and reduces the overall cost of attaining your flying qualifications. With advanced system software, instructors are able to induce any desired in flight or weather related scenario to enhance pilot skill sets and emergency procedures.
