Alessio Favaretto - Grade 1

Alessio's flying career began in Italy in 1998, commencing flying and aviation study at the Aeronautical Institute “A. Volta” in Udine. "At the age of sixteen I had the fortune to fly over the Italian Alps, from there I realised that flying was my greatest passion."
"In 2003 at completion of my studies I chose to continue my commercial training in Australia with MFS. Within one year I was able to complete my licences and start working as a flying instructor at MFS. While instructing I also helped to establish the “Volare MFS” program. This successful programme gives the opportunity to many other Italian pilots to graduate and complete the next stage of their commercial flight training. Within three years I have been able to achieve my ATPL licence, and build my experience in a variety of aircraft.
The most exciting thing of all during my journey to date has not just been the great flying experiences and the achievement of my ATPL licence, but the people and students that I met during this course whom have created many unforgettable moments.
As such, I would recommend every one interested in flight to undertake this amazing experience, without forgetting, as a wise men once said, that 'even a journey of one thousand miles, begins with a single step.' Keep dreaming and start flying!"
