What Does an Instructor Rating  allow me to do?

Of the possibilities available to you, once you have your Commercial Pilot's Licence, the most likely employment opportunity is that of a flying instructor. This is kind of like the apprenticeship of aviation.

One of the advantages of this area of employment is that your students provide your flying hours. The more students you have, the more flying you can do!

During your instructor rating you will learn how to prepare and conduct pre-flight briefings, instruct the various flight sequences, and then analyse and critique a lesson so that your students can learn and progress - just as you did when you sat in the left-hand seat for the first time.

Moorabbin Flying Services is approved by CASA to conduct your entire Instructor rating training in-house.
